Festival season is finally upon us here in Lewiston! As the weather warms up, so does the events calendar in our little corner of Western New York. At Sgt. Peppers, we’re more than stoked about all the goings-on in the village, and you can bet your hot bottom that we’ll be running in full force all summer long.
While we’ll maintain our typical business hours during most of the summer, we wanted to give you all a heads up that on festival and event nights/weekends, our doors will remain open for extended hours so that you can pop in for your fix while roaming the Village of Lewiston. Want some cheese with that wine during Jazz Fest? We’ll be open. Garden Festival put you in the mood for some local honey? Come get some. And if you’re a blues fan, we’re right across the street from the gazebo where Blue Monday concerts are held. We stay open throughout the weekly show, so come on in and rock out with us!
Lewiston’s festivals and events are great opportunities for folks to come out and support local vendors, small businesses, the arts, and much more. So please visit us this summer and help keep this community the vibrant, independent place that it is.
If you’re as ready to kick things off as we are, why not start this Friday? The Lewiston Smelt Festival takes over the waterfront on May 1st, 2015. Festivities begin at 5pm, and live music starts around 6pm. The Sgt. himself, Neil Garfinkel, will be there with his band The Tower, and No Vacancy will also be playing. It promises to be a great evening, so let’s get this party started!
For a full list of the events in Lewiston this summer, check out the Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce, or just grab a printed guide the next time you’re in our store. Want to make sure we’ll be here when you are? Just give us a call any time to inquire about our festival/event hours.
